Ever felt that your binary options platform was lagging more than it should be? Been frustrated by slowly updating rates when you are trying to trade in real time?
Banc De Binary’s sophisticated trading platform updates with rates directly from Reuters 3 to 5 times every single second. This means that your computer is bombarded with a huge amount of data. It is vital for traders to take responsibility for the quality and speed of their internet connection to ensure that they can see the real live rates on their computer screen.
The following are very simple technical steps that you can take when using the trading platform:
-
Close Other Tabs
This is perhaps the most obvious and easy step to take to ensure the full speed of your internet connection while trading. Make sure that while you are placing trading, you do not have other tabs open to use other websites. In particular, please avoid YouTube, Skype and downloading files because these will slow down your internet connection the most.
-
Use Google Chrome
This browser is generally the quickest on the internet and so unsurprisingly it works best with the trading platform. If you do not already use Google Chrome, it is free to download and available to everyone. The Firefox browser also works well. However, we strongly advise against using Internet Explorer as this can be particularly slow.
-
Clear Cache and Cookies
Your computer stores all the images that it receives over the internet. This can take up memory and so reduce its speed. We recommend that you clear these images every 15 minutes that you are on the trading platform. On the Google Chrome browser, simply press ‘Ctrl’ ‘Shift’ and ‘Delete’ simultaneously. This image will appear. Make sure that the top 4 boxes are ticked, and then select the button ‘Clear Browsing Data’.
