Making a positive contribution to the wider world is central to Banc De Binary’s way of thinking. We are very grateful for the success that this company and our clients have enjoyed, and believe that is socially responsible to share that with our local and global communities. We try to integrate social, ethical and environmental values into our everyday work and business practices. Below are just a few examples.

AIDS Fashion Show

On 4th October 2013, Banc De Binary sponsored a fashion show at the Presidential Palace in Cyprus to raise money for the KYFA HIV and AIDS Support Center. When we heard that this established local charity was raising funds for a new hospice, we wanted to help. The opening ceremony was presented by Mrs Andrie Anastasiades, first lady of the Republic, followed by a cocktail party and a fashion show featuring Rita Atala’s winter collection. Not only was it a fabulous evening, but there was a great turnout including several high-profile businessmen and political figures who gave generously. We were privileged to be able to sponsor this event for such a worthy cause, and we wish the Center success in their mission.

Going Green: Recycling Efforts

Don’t be fooled by all the blue - Banc De Binary is in fact very green! We believe that being environmentally responsible goes hand in hand with being a high-tech, twenty first century business. That is why when we have a special promotion or market analysis to share with traders, we always send it to your inbox and never to your home address. It is also why we have recycling boxes around our offices for cans, glass bottles, plastic and paper.

Philippines Collection

After the November typhoon in the Philippines which left millions of people homeless, our employees took it upon themselves to organize a charitable collection. We managed to coordinate a campaign across our different offices in conjunction with local Philippines embassies who were collecting donations and chartering planes to the country. Our employees raided their closets and brought in old clothes and bedding, plus ready-to-eat food items, and the company also contributed to the group effort. Staff from all departments then joined forces to pack up the items into boxes and load the vans.
